Police Character Certificate

Police Character Certificate is required for travelling abroad, jobs in different organizations abroad, immigration etc. Previously, getting character certificate was a complex and time-taking process not just for citizens but for the police too. Police Mobile Khidmat Markaz has simplified and made it time-efficient. The citizen can now apply for Character Certificate from these mobile centers rather than physically visiting that particular district/address for which character certificate is required. For example, any citizen currently living in Quetta can obtain a character certificate for their district. The facility will soon be extended to other districts.

Required Documents:

  • Original CNIC or B-Form and photocopy
  • Original and copy of Passport
  • Affidavit
  • Authority Letter (If applicant is abroad). Authority letter with the stamp of relevant Embassy will be accepted, otherwise it should be attested by two respectable persons who are known to the applicant. The duration of applicant stay should also be mentioned in the authority letter.
  • Photograph (If certificate of any blood relative is required)
  • If applicant is out of country, the form can be submitted by any blood relative (brother, father, mother, sister etc.) with authority letter of the applicant.

General Police Verification is required for job application in different organizations in Pakistan. This is also valid for servants, maids and other workers verification before hiring them for the job. Citizen can get the certificate by visiting nearby Police Mobile Khidmat Markaz.

Whenever someone hires a servant, a maid or any other worker he/she has is bound to register them with Police so that Police has information about the people living in that area. According to the Balochistan Land Laws (Amendment) 2009, whenever a house or a hostel room is rented, owner/tenant/property dealer have to register details (owner, property, tenant info.) in concerned police station for record purpose. After successful registration, front desk officer will provide a certificate to the citizen which will help him/her to avoid any hassle during any search operation.

If a citizen wants to purchase/transport a vehicle he/she can needs to make sure that vehicle is not stolen and has no record in any police station across Balochistan. Vehicle Verification can be done by visiting any Police Mobile Khidmat Markaz.

Loss Report
